Who was the old player that was asked about what's the biggest difference between NFL and college and he said "Smaller crowds" ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

He said it like 6 months ago and now it’s resurfacing. Burrow is right though.

The point of the quote was that loud stadiums don’t affect Burrow because he’s been in them before. He wasn’t talking shite or calling in to question the validity of KC’s home field advantage.
Now he could have said the women in KC are ugly, and while true, that would have been uncalled for. This is much ado about nothing.

What the loudness of the stadium can do is make you not hear. I know you guys don't understand since everyone has a quieter stadium than Arrowhead, as long as you are using recorded instruments to verify and not your imagination (just playing, it looks like LSU is relatively close to Arrowhead in loudness). There are times when the QB can't hear the play being called in and has to call time outs. Obviously radio technology they use is better than it used to be so it could be a lessened effect and the silent snapping has helped to mitigate crowd noise too.
It isn't about whether Burrow can play in a loud environment, everyone knows Burrow is a good QB and could very well make it in the upper echelons of QB. And hell, Burrow could do something that Mahomes and Allen both did as they were both incomplete QBs their first couple years in the NFL. Mahomes couldn't read defenses until last year. Allen actually had his throwing motion studied and improved in the last year or two too, it turns out the flow of his body wasn't correct and he was only using his sheer arm strength to throw. That is why Allen can now throw freaking lazers when he couldn't when he first started in the NFL.
Also, Chiefs Kingdom has been throwing a bunch of $13 donations to a children's hospital in Buffalo.
Chiefs fans take a page from Bills Mafia playbook, begin donating to Oishei Children's Hospital

Goff had a ton of trouble in the beginning of the Saints playoff game because he couldn't hear his helmet earpiece

All that matter is Joe Burrow will have to beat the Chiefs at the loudest outdoor stadium the NFL has to offer.

Didn't LA have to use a silent count in their own stadium because of how loud the San Fran fans were?
I agree with you on weather being a big part of home field advantage, but noise definitely plays a part.
It's seen time and time again with offenses having to take timeouts because the QB can't hear.

Could have just left it there. It doesn't matter where you play them, the Chiefs are going to be tough to beat, especially when they've been there 4 years in a row now.
This is new territory for Burrow and Co, no matter the stadium.

I'm not expecting the noise level to affect Burrow. I'm expecting the noise level to affect the offensive line tasked with not getting Burrow killed.
