Am I the only one that cautiously wonders if it is a greater strategic play to let Russia expand if it meant more influence with regard to stopping China if called on?

Russia isn't taking over the world. They're also eminently under a greater threat from China as they spread westward.

I know it's messed up to consider letting Russia expand, but it makes at least SOME sense in my mind.

Russia doesn’t want to take over the world, however they want to return Eastern Europe to a place within their borders.

You’re not the only person who thinks Russia could be the greatest strategic buffer to China we could have. They are at the very least a Christian Orthodox version of communist ideologies. So common ground could be found on a societal basis.

Problem is, Russia’s leadership is all about keeping a strong seat at the table. They’ll be happy to see the head seat change from time to time if just means they get to keep their spot.

Not sure how much history or culture will help when Mach 10 warheads start falling from the sky though. Appeasement is also not a great way to get what you want. American Soy cuck bois are a testament to how much you stand to lose if you’re a complete pussy
