I don't understand the vitriol towards Wade after last night's game

Sure, nobody likes to lose and especially to that clown,Oat.I was disappointed in the preparation for Auburn and the collapse vs Arkansas. Those were not Wade's finer moments.
But I don't get the knives coming out after last night.Just because we don't like Oats and the Tide doesn't mean they're not a good team. These guys beat Gonzaga and Houston. Their losses to Missouri and Miss State were suprising but that's college basketball. They are a very good team.
Throw in the fact Pinson couldn't play and then one of our leaders,Days, misses the last 23 minutes of the game that was some tough sledding. And there's no way to gloss over the officiating which was just awful-- on both sides, really. It was hard for us to get into much of a rhythmn on offense or defense not knowing how the wind was blowing in those ref's pea brains.
I thought the man did all he could last night. Don't start any of that "participation trophy" nonsense. No one wants a parade for a "valiant effort." But from down 57-44 and then tie it at 58, yea I was impressed with the comeback.
On to Knoxville.

I'll say it.

Not you but just watch this tidal wave attitude on this board. One day we need to build WW a new arena and extend his contract. The next…”he will never be Dale Brown and Woodward needs to have a plan for getting rid of him.” It’s astonishing.

It's simple...early in his days at LSU, the team was constantly undisciplined and erratic.
When losing, you can see those issues coming back to the surface.
There are instances where lack of situational coaching failures are evident...
Last play of game after free throws by Bama (clock stopped before he shot and plenty of communication time for set play call)
Yet, the plan was playground kids stuf...hand it in under basket, and have someone go against man press and double, and shoot a 30 footer...no passing, no screens, no preparation...nothing
There are several other things that you can see if you know a solid amount of basketball. Everyone just ignores them after a win, but they are amplified during an embarrassing loss.
Bama is NOT good. To be a great team. You must win against inferior teams

We needed Alabama to shoot 0% from 3 in the second half and miss 9 FTs to have a chance due to our complete lack of a plan on offense.

They needed us to have two of our top players out to beat us by one at home

Without Days & Pinson on the road neither is LSU. With = a different story.
All 3 losses were played without key personnel.

This is why they are still an elite team. Yeah, they lost the game, but still got to take a shot at the buzzer to tie.

Alabama and LSU are mirror images of each other. Athletic, but turnover machines. Not very many shooters.

I'll agree here.
call a TO then or try for long inbound and TO at half court to set up a play. That's the conventional wisdom.
Honestly, I was shocked Bama didn't foul and send us to the line. Make it a free throw shooting match.

We got guys throwing a fit because we took an open 3 at the end of the game with 5 seconds left on the clock lol.

Pretty sure we didn’t have any timeouts

There are a few very vocal retards around here. Pay them no mind.

Works great if you have a time out. We didn't.

Sidewalk fans and idiots

This is being said by those that are young and have never watched LSU go deep in tourneys.
