Here is another moving-target Depth Chart.
Incoming transfers are placed above true freshmen.
A couple of "fake news" reports of Micah Baskerville declaring for the draft have been scrubbed from the internet as of yesterday; he's staying for his Sr. season.
West Weeks revealed that Polian recruited him as a Will LB, so I bumped Jared Small over from Will to Mike for aesthetic convenience.
Media are referring to Mekhi Wingo as an interior defensive lineman, but scouting reports specify him as a 3-technique DT due to his size.
Tre'mond Shorts played LT, but he projects as an interior lineman at LSU. In one interview he confirmed his willingness to play anywhere along the line.

That is a solid team. Looking forward to seeing what they can do with quality coaching.

Crazy what one year has done for our offensive Outlook.
Only things missing are few DL and CB I'm very excited about the offensive potential. But gunna be hard with only one spring to gel

Todd Harris has been there 10 years.

We really need an elite corner. Not sure what the options are but that’s gotta be the main priority. That and TE. And maybe a linebacker although we play so much Nickel I think we are good there.

What’s the chances of having two “Mekhi” ‘s on a team?

This team should be competitive in every game. Solid depth in the trenches.

That’s probably a big ask at this point. It’s going to be really hard to find a transfer CB who would be considered “elite” by LSU standards. Those guys are few and far between. But I agree it has to be a priority.
The good news is that we’ve got some pretty damned good options at safety and nickel. So if we play a lot of zone as people have suggested, we might not necessarily need a lockdown freak athlete at CB to field a respectable defense.

House and the DB coaches have their work cut out for them sorting out those spots.
I’d be shocked if Foucha isn’t starting day 1.
Zero expectation for Toles/Harris/Burns. Would love to see Langlois come on; was surprised to see him loafing on special teams in the bowl.

Think Frazier will be our LT. Not sure where Wire will end up.

Gardner will start across from Ward

Our best options at Safety are going to be Jacoby Matthews and Sage Ryan. Along with Foucha in more of that box safety role.

That’s an awful lot of depth on the OL. Now it’s a matter of who or how many turn the proverbial corner from HS to college.
