Just said in his presser that its a "blown coverage thing" vs a matchup problem. Well, that clears it up. Look out Percy Harvin!!!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, Coach got jokes.

No matchup problems in my mind.

I can see it now. Harvin or Rainey burns McCray for a TD like we all expect and it costs us the game, only to have Miles make excuses for McCray again in his presser and continue to start McCray the rest of the season. Seriously, if everyone watching LSU can tell that McCray has some serious matchup problems, why don't the coaches?

If he believes that...there may be a problem...big IF, though! He is loyal to his players and will defend them in public. |McCray is a good baller, just not your ideal one-on-one guy...

I'm suprised Miles didn't come out and tell Florida what our weakness is and destroy one of our players confidence. The nerve of this guy.
(Not that Florida can't watch the tape and pick McCray out anyway.)

Gotta love a coach taking up for his players.
But McCray has been the subject of highlight films for our opponents since last season.
He's the best we have or he wouldnt be in there.
Invitation for exploitation.

1. he prolly works harder than anybody behind him
2. he prolly understands what he's supposed to do better than anybody behind him
3. he prolly practices better accordingly
4. he prolly practices well against our O (which doesn't mean it will comparable to UF's O)

He's not good in man coverage, bottom line. I trust what ever Miles and Co. have in the game plan, but Its not a secret if he gets forced in the Man, he will lose most matchups.

THE CHARGERS BETTER START MCCRAY IN TWO YEARS IF THEY WANT TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!

Im sure they do and I know the coaches are smarter than us so I trust there is either nobody else that can do as good a job or someone else besides McCray is blowing coverages but it sure looks bad for McCray to be running behind the guy with the ball once or twice every Saturday.

What was he supposed to say?
"Well, McCray is fricking terrible in coverage, but to be honest with you there's not that many people behind him that play just as well. So we say 'frick it', just put him in there"

Praise in public, criticize in private. I'm sure Miles has it under control.

max would prefer..."look, we know McCray is not our best option, but I really like the guy and the other guys behind him just don't get to practice as early as he does"
