I hate it for the guy, but I kinda wish he would go to jail for it. The global media coverage which would descend on Australia and bring to light the atrocities the government there put its people through would be worth it.
ETA: Just to be clear, I don't think he is in any way guilty of anything or deserves any of the treatment he's received. I'm talking going to jail as a martyr to expose the evil regime.
