Thanks, the quantitative evidence of that is what I’m trying to sort out. Do you get more than 2% back, overall? One poster mentioned that the travel benefits work out to about 1%, which was my point.
To contribute, Fidelity does a straight 2% back. Cash goes to your Fidelity account but can be freely xferred out.

If you have checking with Capital One, a benefit of their cards is the ease to set up autopay. My card balances are automatically paid in full on the due dates.

Here's the chart I created with my actual spending totals removed. It shows the math I used to get to my net return. Granted this is for cash back only, not miles or hotel points.
