Improved QB play
Improved OL play
Boutte is back
Experienced OC

That seems good for 2-3 more wins that LSU lost by less than 7 points this year. (3 games)

8/9 wins should be reasonable.

Next three years:

11-1

8-4 is a realistic goal
Loss to Bama is the only lock
Will drop 3 more conference games along the way

I agree, Auburn and Florida are in worse shape than we are.

If Brennan and Boutte play all year, he had better win 10 games.

11-1 with a loss to Alabama. BK wins coach of the year, Brennan and Boutte are Heisman finalists and we find ourselves in the CFP over a two loss UGA.
If we're gonna talk best case scenario might as well say we beat Gump in the rematch Championship game.

7 wins is floor, IMO

And I think we have a better shot to beat UF than Ole Miss.

Arkie "continuity" is losing entire DB backfield in portal.

Rougarou fans are in here trying to put their ridiculous expectations out there because they are mad he’s gone

Hard to believe that in spite of all the drama of this past season, we could have won 8 games…..I will say 8-9 wins for first year coach Brian Kelly.

My realistic expectation is we will be somewhere between 7-9 wins, and that a vocal minority will want him fired the first time the defense gives up a first down and will be insufferable when he loses a game even if it’s against a powerhouse.

So if Boutte and Brennan play all year you would be ok with 7 wins? I am willing to settle for less if one or both are out, but if they play all year the talent is there.

8-4 should be a realistic floor for 2022. It should not be a fricking goal. That’s ridiculous. We are way more talented than a lot on here are giving credit for. We’ve just got to plug some holes via the portal, but I think we will.

First two years should be a complete pass. He is rebuilding the program from scratch/sanctions. It's gonna take a few years just to get the numbers up.

Regardless of rebuilding, 7-5 is not acceptable to me for the resources (coaches, facilities, fans, portal access, etc...) that LSU has to work with. I always want to compete for titles, but the pass on that for me is really only one year. I still would want to see at least 8-4 and hopefully 9-3 in year one but for sure by year two. But all of this is just a big guess until we see who the next 17 players we sign in the coming weeks and months.

We won 6 games with a majority of back ups this year. Let’s see the upgrades we’ll have this coming year
1. Coaching….I’ll give 2 wins easily. Peetz was horrific, D Jones was a new coordinator that was horrible early in. The year. O well there was no head coach this year outside pussy and destin talk.
2. QB. Myles coming back was HUGE. Johnson lost us at minimum 3 games this year being inaccurate and consistently missing HUGE plays. Add 3 wins.
3. Talent. This team won 6 games this year. SIX which is insane considering what we dealt with between the quitters, half asses and injuries.
4. New entire coaching staff will be an adjustment season to the SEC and program. I’ll give at least one loss for this
5. Bama will be just ridiculous AGAIN. 1 loss.
6. SEC will be better than last year but still down. Push here.
I easily see ten wins for the reasons above. Maybe will take the bowl to get us to ten but we’ll get there.
