Played one year at Auburn after leaving WVU.
I didn’t see a lot of Auburn this year.... was he a starter for them??
Somebody we should pursue? I remember a lot of talk about him last year here

I get the sentiment..... but we gonna need alot of guys that are "quitting a school" or its gonna be another long year

Glad we got that quitter Burrow too.

It’s one thing to quit and you are playing minutes versus transferring because of where you are lost in depth chart. That’s not quitting, but looking for playing opportunities.

Only played in 1 game this year a few snaps. Soemthing doesnt line u pthere.

I know he's a graduate but how can he transfer again and play immediately, he did that last year going to Auburn which would be the 1 time. Does he get another exemption for being a graduate? Not sure how that works.

You only get one free trip through the transfer portal right? Unless you transferred during Covid then you essentially get two?

You ignorant people don't see the difference between a graduate transfer (who transfers after the current season is over), to someone who quits mid season, or opts out (QUITS) of a bowl game. At LSU this year that would be Eli Ricks and Damone Clark!!!

Eli goes to Bama after quitting and Clark quits the team for the bowl game. Without the team he does not have a great 2021 year and elevate his stock. His team helped him do that and will become a high draft choice, but he decided to walk away and leave his brothers short handed.

My rule- If you quit and don't finish the season you have to wait a year to go to the NFL draft- that will fix this shite.

Finish the year what you started, then get drafted or transfer if you have time left

I was being sarcastic.
So I’d argue maybe you’re the ignorant one....

How is he immediately eligible? I thought athletes were only allowed one "free" transfer. Or am I just dreaming about that rule?

I'm guessing you are still at the first job you ever had. They paid you to go there why did you leave?

Q13: What if the student-athlete transferred previously from another four-year school as an
undergraduate student?
A13: Generally, a student-athlete who has previously transferred from another four-year school would
not be able to use the one-time exception as a postgraduate transfer. However, a waiver process
exists for postgraduate students with a previous transfer history.

Or...

Q4: Does a student-athlete who previously transferred at the beginning of the spring 2021 academic
term now qualify for a one-time exception to compete in fall 2021 at their same school?
A4: Yes, provided the campus compliance administrator can certify the student-athlete met the
new one-time exception criteria at the time they transferred to their current Division I school in
spring 2021.
