Not a big fan of this hire.
We should have gotten someone in the college ranks who was gaining momentum and showed promise as a DC for the last few years.
We expect this guy to be a great college DC right out of the gate after being out of the college game for awhile?
Have we learned nothing from Bo Pelini?

What the hell does Pelini have to do with this hire? Kelly brought a successful college DC and NFL LB coach from a Super Bowl winning team to be the next LSU DC. How does that equate to Pelini's resume in any way? Quite possibly the dumbest take

Any chance Kelly actually interviewed House before hiring him?
Some posters here have suggested we experiment with the idea of interviewing coordinators before entering into seven figure annual salaries, but that sounds like overkill.
