Almost everyone enjoys dinner and a show, but what about brunch and a drag show?

Caliente Mexican Craving Caliente started hosting drag brunches in June for Pride month. Since then, the Mexican restaurant has gotten creative with fun themes related to holidays and current events. There was even an Olympics-themed drag brunch during the summer Olympics, with queens representing various countries. Tickets usually cost about $45, which includes a brunch menu item and bottomless mimosas.

As long as they aren’t pushing it on kids I don’t care if adults want to play dress up.
The ren faire is a blast. I don’t think most people have an issue with something that’s in the appropriate venue and not stuffed down our throats.

Out of curiosity, how is this article "propaganda"?

Maybe JP can hit it up and find his next 10

I don’t think this thread is going to go the way he thinks it’s going to go.
What he presented is an article simply talking about an event hosted at a private business that clearly states what it is.
No one is going to be tricked into attending, it’s not foisted on anyone, it’s not at some kids place.
I predict you’ll see a very laissez-faire attitude on this one.

I was gonna make a "no sissy bars" joke but then I realized I was thinking of "wheelie bars."

Op “article titled with drag brunch goes into detail about drag brunch, full propaganda!”

I agree. More just fricking with OP
Personally, I would go for charity, but as a rule, I’m not really a fan of performances of any kind while I’m out for a meal. I’ll actively avoid restaurants on days I know they are going to have live music

I clicked on this thread expecting fast cars.

Why are you yelling?

Herbie K's in Ellick used to have live organ music on Sundays when I was a youngin. Errbody thought it was very sophisticated.

Drag Queens aren’t that bad. Talked with one when I was in key west with Mrs. Pledge. She was pretty funny, very crude humor

I don't have an objection to it in a vacuum, and if I were eating alone, live music would probably be great. But it's generally on the louder side, and the performer has a tendency to try to interact with the "crowd". So if I had any intention of being able to talk to the person/people I'm eating with, that kind of all gets shot to shite
