80 degrees on Christmas eve? I don’t give a f@$!, it’s a traditional gumbo night. I’m gonna pump down the AC and get the fireplace rolling too.

On a warm Christmas I always think of the 90s when we’d go back to school. Everyone would have their new Starter jacket on when it’s 70 degrees outside

Most people do but almost everyone I knew growing up had it on Christmas eve with a fire or bonfire. Maybe just a nostalgia thing.

Gumbo and Soup warms up your whole body. I'll eat it year round as well but it's magical when it's cold outside. We're vacationing in Park City, Utah and that's what we're making for Christmas.

Damn right! Down goes the AC, and up goes the fire under the gumbo. Just like nature intended!

Boiling shrimp and crabs enjoying the sunshine...only because the last little cold snap sent the crawfish back in the ground
