Where can I find it. I know there is a list online of places but I know my Rouses and Winn Dixie on North Carrolton do not carry it.

Dorignacs has it. I assumed every grocer had it in NO. Rouses and Winn Dixie have it in Baton Rouge. They usually keep it in the bakery section, not the bread aisle.

do yourself a favor, go to Dorignacs and get their bakery bread!

Agree. Dorignac's does make a good French Bread in house.
A little off subject here, but I make my own croutons for salads and soups and will go to Winn-Dixie and buy 2-3 baguettes for $1 each and cut them up, season them and toast them in the oven till done.
Rouses and Costco are 2 other stores near me but they want $2.99 each for their baguettes that are the same size as Winn-Dixie's.

They have Reising's which is made by Leidenheimer. Is there a big difference?

There is no difference. Reisings is sold in groceries, Leidenheimer is sold to restaurants.
It’s the same bread though

Hardly. The Reising's I see in stores is like "French Bread Lite" with a softer outer crust and lacking that overall real French Bread texture both inside and out.
What I consider real French Bread has a nice crisp outer crust, soft interior and is easy to cut for making po-boys.
The Reising's stuff I have bought on occasion needs to be toasted in the oven to even come close to what I associate French Bread to be.
Rouses makes their own brand of French Bread, but it is not like a po-boy loaf, being long and thin. It is a much wider bread and quite doughy.

Zuppardos has this. Just got one a couple of days ago. The bag says Zip like pictured below.
Rouses has the Reisings.

And that's 2 different texture breads. The one in the paper wrapper is far superior to the Reising's in the cellophane sleeve.
ETA: To the downvoter. Go pick up a Reising's French Bread and pick it up in the mmiddle of the loaf and watch it bend in 2 like a U-bolt because it's so limp and nothing like a good French Bread.

Leidenheimer's (sold as ZIP in stores) is the quintessential Po boy bread, but you better eat it or freeze it the day it's made. Reising's is baked and bagged so it stays fresher longer. Just put it in the oven for a minute or two to crisp up the outside.

The best French bread is located on Mirabeau and St Anthony in Gentilly.
