Maybe I’m just hurt, but it would have made me queasy transferring to Bama in undergrad or even applying to grad school there.

How do these players justify it emotionally/morally? Am I just a giant pussy?

Because for the players in college sports, or professional too, they don't hold the same fanaticism compared to the 45 year old electrician in Baton Rouge.

Sports aren't the escape for them, it's their business of choice.

Not to say they aren't always disloyal to a school, but the dynamics are completely different. And that's ok.

My god.....bring back bullying.
Hurt because a kid is going from LSU to another school to play football? A kid you don't even know?

Don't know if you've noticed but Bama's won more than a few titles recently. They have recruiting on easy mode, and now they've extended recruiting to not just HS kids, but other college teams rosters. What a brilliant idea right?

We don't want players like Ricks at LSU

Aside of wishing him nothing but failure, aren't we glad he left?

All of us aren’t emotionally tied to LSU as others are. I’m an alumnus. Class of 89.

Bama’s campus life is far better than LSU’s. Period. Go visit the whole campus and college town area —- it’s more advanced than LSU’s — I know I’ve been there about 4 times since Summer

No you’re right. Transferring would not have been a betrayal. Transferring to a western division rival is.

Not going to lie had Joe Burrow transferred to Michigan instead of narrowing his choices down to Cincinnati or LSU I’d think less highly of him. At least Joe didn’t stick a knife in his ex-teammates backs.
