Going to be tough finding one at this late date for Xmas. Very popular this time of year. I would call Jims Firearms. Best stock/worst prices. Also call S=Deep South Shooters in Zachary. I was in there on Friday and they had some youth rifles just don't now what caliber.

Find ammo, then find rifle.

Did you think about maybe a .308? Rifle would last the kid a lifetime. Depending on age and size of the kid they may put grow that rifle fairly quick.I know where I live .308 ammo is easy to find right now.

Second the .308. Started both my boys on .308 at age 6. Get the reduced recoil bullets and add weight to stock if they are small framed. Buy quality and that will be the only gun they ever need.
