I guess we know she wasn't really a vampire.
At the height of vampire mania in New Orleans around the late 90’s, there were people convinced vampires were real. One person even argued this with me, and claimed I had no idea what really went on in the underground social scene of the decadent wealthy followers of this lifestyle, and had seen it herself.

I had a patient that was big into the “Vampire Ball” in New Orleans. She paid me to make her a pair of famgs. She was a tad shy about asking for them...”Do you...uhhh...make theatrical teeth?” You mean fangs? I made them out of the acrylic we used to make temporary crowns. She was kinda hot (especially with the fangs).
Loved Anne Rice’s stuff. Ended up getting into all sorts of vampire book series because of Anne Rice. She was the best.
