I was legitimately asking who's in the Westgate pipeline, because Boutte is the only guy I can think of. I'm sure there are others though.

The school in barely 20 years old bro and ties run deep in “the Berry”. This is some
of the dudes I can think of:

1.) Tyrunn Walker - DE in the NFL for 7 years
2.) Dionte Spencer - current WR/Return specialist (Broncos)
3.) Jared Mitchell -WR/baseball players @ LSU
4.) Josh Boutte - started OL for LSU
5.) Randall Antoine - former RB @ University of Houston
6.) Kayshon Boutte- single game SEC record holder for receiving yards
7.) Derek Williams - 5 star & #2 safety in the country for 2023
8.) And the OP…Danny Lewis

I’d say that’s a lot of players for a school only 2 decades old. 3-4 5A semifinal appearances and now a state championship. They got some ball players.

I’m not saying that. Corey was one thing. But from what I was told, the Faulk’s (Trev & Kevin) both have a really good relations with the staff at Westgate. People weren’t happy with the Kevin deal. Especially after everything he been through. Kevin is a LSU legend, doesn’t need money, and is coaching out of pure love for LSU.

I can't say I think Kevin Faulk got a raw deal, because I don't think he did that great of a job last year, but I hate what he's had to go through and hope he's got an opportunity to step back into another position at LSU.

As for Trev, dude's an LHS (my alma mater) legend. Seeing the look of joy on Jordan Allen's face when BK offered him, in person BTW, was pretty damn cool tho.

I think stuff like that is what's going to smooth over the bumps in the road. BK seems like the kind of guy who's going to cultivate his own relationships with the area coaches.

I know Trev and Kevin are cousins, so Kelly offering one of Trev's guys isn't going to take away all the hurt feelings (assuming there are any to begin with), but it's a start.

Did you see the post on the rant about the guy at the Shreveport card signing today with Boutte? They said Boutte was 100% staying. You believe that? I'm not sure I do, tbh.

He lit up my eagles. Hat’s off to Westgate and that giant arse kid, lol.

Easton playing cover 0 and throwing into a cover two, along with 6, doomed my alma mater. No clue why they didn’t at least attempt the FG on 4th, even if we couldn’t grab a decent soccer player to place kick this year.
