We don't even have an OC yet. How could anyone answer that question?

Penix from Indiana is in the portal, as well as the UCF QB. Would imagine most these guys want guaranteed playing time. So who knows...

Did Kelly almost get anyone who ended up at a sexier school? Maybe we can get them. We sexy.

I’m intrigued with the idea of Harrison Bailey.

155.5 QBR, 48-68 in 2020 with all-SEC schedule.
Stats

It just depends on the fit of the offense, but it looks like someone at Tenn really may have squandered this kid’s talent.

Before I'd take him I'd go for Adrian Martinez from Nebraska.

People say he sucks, but LSU has WAY better receivers than Nebraska, and Martinez is a runner who can bail out what's going to be a very suspect offensive line next year.

We're going to need to hire a quarterback whisperer anyway. See if that guy can whisper to Martinez. Kelly had Tommy Rees who turned Jack Coan into a pretty good quarterback, so we know this guy can find coaches who can get it done.

Here you go:

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/32831441/incarnate-word-qb-cameron-ward-enters-college-football-transfer-portal

One of the best players in the FCS, Incarnate Word quarterback Cameron Ward, has entered the transfer portal.

Ward won the Jerry Rice Award as the best player in FCS during the spring season this year at the private school in San Antonio, Texas.

He then threw for 4,648 yards and 47 touchdowns with 10 interceptions this fall as UIW made the second round of the FCS playoffs. He owns school records for career passing TDs (71) and yards (6,908).

Ward led Incarnate Word to a 10-3 season and a Southland Conference title, and he was named the Southland's Offensive Player of the Year.
