Two years under Saban, young, good recruiter. Read a Sports Illustrated article that said Napier has him as a top target too.

Genuine question since all I know about Belk is what I just read on Wikipedia, but why hire Belk over keeping Daronte Jones in place?

Personally, I think Kelly should sever all ties with O except Corey. Too much bs.

Meh, O cost Daronte potential money with his meddling. I'd be willing to bet that Daronte has something to prove and could kill it here. But want CBK to get who he wants.

Meh

Wisconsin’s stats benefit greatly from
Playing the worse half of the Big 10, which isn’t exactly an offensive powerhouse to begin with.

He’s a great DC but I’d take Venables any day of the week. Of course he’s a HC now, so maybe you factored that into your statement.

So does Justin Wilcox.

How’s Cal’s defense?

It’s not a guarantee by a long shot.

Yea that’s why Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Green Bay Packers, Texas, have all tried to poach Jim Leonhard over the last few years. It’s because he’s an elite coach.

I mean, Jim Leonhard's defense held ND to three rushing yards and ND scored 38 of 41 points off turnovers and special teams. Against Michigan, 17 of 38 points came off turnovers and three other Wisconsin drives gained a total of four yards before giving possession back to Michigan, which led to 21 points.

No matter the opponent, B1G West or otherwise, Leonhard's defense was dynamite all year. Unfortunately, Wisconsin's offense did its best to sabotage it and put them in some terrible situations.
