Taysom Throwing

Super slow awkward release and horribly inaccurate. Simply not a QB at this level.

He has a broken finger.... I mean, he’s not Joe Montana when healthy, but clearly that finger is an issue.

Also, you forgot, he telegraphs the frick out of his passes. The dude is just terrible!

he never seems to get to his 3rd read. He goes 1st read, 2nd read...looks to see if he can run, then back to his first read.

He does the same shite when healthy.
Why do you think so many passes get tipped?
Are you not scared when taysom drops back with pressure?

D lineman are staying off and containing and just focused on getting hands up and stepping into lanes

Some of you are emotional little bitches with no objective bones in your bodies so there’s that

He’s not an NFL QB but you could tell the finger affected the throws. Healthy Taysom probably throws two instead of four. No sarcasm, I’m serious.
But also almost throws 4 more

A finger has nothing to do with crouching in to throws like a pitcher throwing a slider. He does not throw like an nfl qb.

Little bitches?? I would be careful who you call little, bitch!

Oh well he's just 31, I'm sure there's plenty upside left there for development.

He didn’t throw 4 ints in 4 games last year. He actually completed 72% of his balls. The finger is 100% the issue.
Also, if a lineman picks off your pass or you throw an int while your hand is getting hit that really has nothing to do with anything.
One of his other ints was a stone cold drop by Stills. The other was a bit of a force due to situation.
I don’t think anyone on here knows how to fairly analyze a QB one bit. Just a bunch of sky screamers when things go wrong.
Taysom isn’t the issue. The finger hurt his game and the play calling was also pretty dumb every time we got in scoring range.
It is what it is. We weren’t beating the Cowboys with 90% of our pro bowlers sitting out with injuries. We had to coach a perfect game and not get screwed by penalties or Marcus Williams. Bunch of reasons why we lost this game.
Zero of them were on Taysom.

Wish we would scheme around what he’s good at… not being a pocket passer that scrambles. Run first, read option, QB power!

I heart you so much. Well said.

He was playing well before he injured his middle finger, but yeahs, he’s not an NFL QB.

The lineman picked off his pass because he was staring straight at the WR and didn't even recognize the lineman, and he does that a lot and that has nothing to do with a bad finger. Smh
Also, the Int before the Dlineman pick, he tried to fit it in over Diggs head to Harris, and that was a bad pass. I played this game, and I knew he wouldn't get that pass in. If anything he had to throw it before Harris came out of his break and with more arc to fit it in over Diggs, but he doesn't have the skill to do that.

Callaway was crossing straight behind the LoS. Taysom glances to the right right at the point of the throw. Fact is the defender wasn’t even rushing and was a situation where Payton should encourage Taysom to run more often.
