Would be homerun. Use to be an excellent recruiter. Can he still do that? Not sure but he's definitely a good coach.

Maybe he just wasn't motivated to recruit for y'all. When he was here he was a very good recruiter. He could be on the backend of his career and wants to finish it out at LSU. I'd imagine that would motivate him to recruit harder.

That's why I asked that question above. He got lazy recruiting before he went to NFL but that may have been a motivation factor for where he was. He was a good recruiter for us, imo. He has shown he can be a good recruiter. Coach though, he definitely had some great dlines.

no. It was known when he was hired he was not a great recruiter . If you have great recruiters around him it can be mitigated but DL coach is usually a recruiting position. I am sure he just doesn’t like recruiting for anybody but LSU 
There is a reason he has been an NFL lifer and I think he has pretty much said so IIRC

He literally was here already and recruited well for us. Maybe he wouldn’t now but we don’t need an Alabama fans take on him

Well you need somebody that is not so delusional to try to tell you something . I tried to talk most of you off the ledge about Kelly when it looked like it might be him

It’s also known he has had issues with the southern heat regarding his vitiligo. That’s why he’s consistently coached in the north in the NFL. If that’s under control, he’d been an excellent hire.
