Someone posted a story a month ago about a deer that swims the Mississippi River every year and travels like 17 miles. Some study that Mississippi state was doing. That deer in the study has been shot.

I’ve never understood guys taking a photo with a trophy and have a complete stone face. It is the teeth that them lips are covering up or are they trying to act bad?

Beautiful buck. Had I seen the tags I don’t know if I would have shot him.

That scope makes the deer look 105lbs.

I saw a deer with an ear tag in Tennessee about 2 years ago on one of our farms. He was a small 6. Don’t know if the state does that or if some individual did it. That tag really stood out when he was running though.

My nervous arse would've seen the tag and figured it was illegal to shoot or something

How long before the investigation starts to see if that baw had “hunting rights” where it was killed?

Was killed on a WMA. MS State has said they encourage people to kill legal deer that are tagged.

We've got a 10 point tagged in AL. He's been coming up to a feeder by a cabin since he was a baby. This summer my uncle and some friends tranquilized him and tagged him. I don't see how you wouldn't notice the tag. He's like a puppy with my uncle

Had binoc’s on him, and still missed both ear tags. Okie dokie. And now he wants the collar tag that was on him previously. Having said that, it was all legal. Will be curious about the CWD result.

I think they all swim the river every year right ?

I had a family member in Davis Island who told me that once.

Heard the saying “never smile in Camo” before.
Trying to look tough I guess.
