White House 'Interns' Release Open Letter Slamming Biden
In a move that mimics parody, White House "interns" have released an open letter slamming the current president. According to NBC News, which viewed the letter, the "more than 40 interns" accused Joe Biden of ignoring their pleas for a ceasefire between Israel and Gaza.
Further, the letter proclaims that the interns will "no longer remain silent on the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people." Of note is that there is no genocide occurring of the Palestinian people.
A group of White House interns joined the growing list of administration officials applying internal pressure to President Joe Biden to call for a permanent cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, sending him a letter late Tuesday that accuses him of having "ignored" the "pleas of the American people."
