I actually agree with her. He looks so much smoother than DeSantis. As odd as it sounds, after watching 15 minutes just now I think Trump would do better and look more formidable against Gavin than DeSantis does. I don’t know how to describe why other than to say this:

It honestly is impressive how far he has gotten considering he is so...awkward. He's just a weird fricking guy. Those cringe smiles he kept making. It was super strange. He's almost like a completely different person than the small snippets we'd see back in the day of him going after journalists. It's all very strange. The guy is just weird. And credit Gavin for knowing the stakes. His role was to knee cap Ron and he did so admirably. Before the debate he even chastised Ron for taking the bait on scheduling this debate. There was literally nothing for Desantis to gain.

This is just me, but I don’t think self-confidence and experience on the biggest stages can be overstated here in this setting. Both of which Trump has somewhat of an advantage over the competition.
And yes I already know that some people will disagree, so I’ve already made a note of that.

What's even worse is Ron who has a state to govern is placing all his eggs in the Iowa basket. he spent nearly 100k to land the Iowa preacher's endorsement. He likely told their governor she'd be his vice president pick to nab her endorsement and what's sad of all, is Iowa doesn't mean anything at all. Ted Cruz took the same approach, he won Iowa and shortly after suspended his campaign. Ron is desperately searching for any semblance of momentum but what he doesn't understand is he's too awkward to sustain positive direction.

DeSantis is extremely competent but that is just not what Americans are looking for. frick the steak, Americans prefer the sizzle. Probably why we are $34 Trillion in debt.
