Gender affirming surgeries have tripled in 3 years....now the rest of the story

We frequently hear this stat. Its gone from 5,000 to 16000, yes thats what all this is about 16K out of 330 million people.
But wait, what is gender affirming surgery and why has it increased? I assumed it was the full monty.....oh no. And keep in mind for insurance purposes, a little beauty enhancement isnt covered, but if its a gender issue... well legally thats a different story. Here is what is now considered gender affirming.....
They included breast reconstruction, repositioning and size adjustments; nipple reconstruction; male or female genital reconstruction; cosmetic facial procedures; hair removal or transplantation; liposuction and/or collagen injections.
Remember this is the same health care system that claimed covid deaths for all causes to claim, Im certain they would not claim a little botox or nip and tuck as gender affirming, nah wouldnt happen....would it?
