Is the House just going to impeach every president going forward?

Seems like a funny precedent. From what I understand in the Trump proceedings the House can just make up any reason they want and impeach the president through a majority vote, and there's no actual oversight to limit that.
I wouldn't be surprised if every president with an opposite party House of Representatives gets impeached every single time. What would be extra funny is if the Senate was also opposite party and they just kept impeaching and kicking people out of office simply because they can.

Its always been this way. Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. Republicans can impeach Biden for being a creepy old man who sniffs children and embarrasses the country if they want.

Republicans will do an inquiry and not move forward because they respect the process or some shite like that.
Democrats will do an inquiry and regardless of the findings will be hell bent on saving democracy or some shite like that.

I don’t really care about them going forward in future presidencies, but after they did what they did to Trump, now isn’t the time to bring impeachment into some kind of sacrosanct, wholesome realm.
