Louisiana Senator John Kennedy was a Democrat until Recently

So why do some of you republicans want him to run for Governor. He’s part of the uniparty. I understand why some of these democrats want him to run. He couldn’t win a state wide elective office as a Democrat so he changed parties. He tried to get John Kerry elected president prior to his party switch.

Does the name John Alario ring a bell ? One of the biggest Democrats there was. An EWE blow buddy. Guess which party he changed to, like almost every other pol back then. Like every politician in history, his public persona is nothing like he's like in real life. Over the years he's probably had 10,000 votes. And the only one you hold against him is his vote for the Ukraine? His detractors never give their choice over him. So easy to be negative.
