Jai is his father. Yes he balled out at LSU. From what I'm alwyas seeing on Facebook, Jai is an extremely good dad and is helping his kid do everything he can to get a big time offer. From what I've seen, Jai Jr isn't an sec qb. Doesn't mean he can't become one. But he isn't there yet.

His dad Jai Eugene Sr. never really lived up to the hype. He wasn’t that good. He was a role player and not much more.
He eventually got abused and burned a bunch by AJ Green against UGA in 2008 and got benched mid-game in favor of Patrick Peterson.

Just glanced at his old Rivals profile. I recall him being ranked much higher coming out of high school. But yea, he never did live up to the hype.

That one still makes me shake my head. We got the higher rated guy who never lived up to it and ok state got the kid who ran back kicks every other week and played in the nfl
