So you're saying Texas went from having an egotistical drunk to a literal drunk for a head coach? Nice path for the Longhorns.
I think in retrospect, he looks a hell of a lot better to the Texas AD and their fans after the season they just had. Herman is immature though.

Herman tried to destroy UT? He had all winning seasons there, was 4-0 in bowl games, finished ranked 3 of the 4 years he was there and gave them their first 10-win season since Mack Brown's last national championship appearance with them (and the 10th win was a W against UGA in the Sugar Bowl).
Herman's teams were inconsistent and he was a douchebag, but Texas had finished unranked in 6 of 7 seasons before he got there and they had 3 straight losing seasons before his first year there. If not for COVID, last year would have likely been a 10-win year for them with the non-conference games.
I hope Sark is sober and hope that he can be successful, but they were really bad this year.
