Fun course in gulf shores

I'm gonna be in gulf shores next week and want to squeeze a round in. Hoping to get some advice. I shoot upper 80s to low 90s at the public courses here in BR. What are the best courses for a high handicapper to have a great experience but not absolutely torture myself. I've heard some of them out that way can be very challenging.
Thanks in advance.

Gulf Shores CC. Kiva is the best but can be brutal if the wind is up.

Yea. Kiva looks amazing in the pics and vids I've seen. Just keep hearing it can be tough.

Can’t remember the name but there’s also a 27 hole course out towards Kiva just not on the water. Played it last time and it was pretty nice.

Peninsula. That one’s hard too

I would play Kiva. Not that tough when the wind isn’t blowing 10+.

Kiva for sure
They just punched and sanded last Tuesday and Wednesday but should be fine next week.

I drove out there and looked after posting - it will be fine next week - front side looks really good - back side is a day behind or so
It is the best course in this area for sure.

Played Kiva and Peninsula a couple weeks ago. Both courses were in excellent shape and both were challenging.
Staff was great at both places.

Kiva all day. Craft farms can be fun and has 2 courses.

Peninsula golf course was sold within the last month or two. Not sure if that changes much of anything. To Be Determined.

They have some amazing / beautiful bay front property - bet some of the 27 holes gets turned into bay front condos.
Lakes Course - Hole 7 - I always take a minute and walk down to the bay front and enjoy that amazing view.

craft farms is really fun too. Closer to Orange Beach

If in Orange Beach, drive to Lost Key!

IMO Lost Key is the opposite of fun. Greens are usually sweet though.
Bring tons of balls. The pro shop makes a killing on overpriced balls at the turn

Just an FYI Kiva got punched late last week

Just got back and played at Lost Key and Peninsula
Lost Key- $99 Course in good conditions (I have seen it better), tight fairways and lots of blind shots, greens are THICK and slow, not fun (just joking I had fun>>>), lost a bunch of balls, they really need to give out course cards or add gps to the carts because there are a ton of blind spots, would play again with cheaper balls
Peninsula- $140 Course in really good condition, open (was a wonderful change from Lost key), Greens were in great shape and lightning fast coming from Lost Key, fun challenging, I don't know if I would play again at that price
Kiva- ?? Drove by there since we were at Peninsula and the course was closed. The greens had just been punched.
