Apparent leaked trailer (Twitter Video)

Thanks to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, almost everything in Hollywood is currently up in the air. That said, Fallout is slated to premiere on Prime Video in 2024. Which is probably a year, maybe even 2, before we’ll see the next game, Fallout 5. About which we know even less.

It’ll be trash that subverts (ie shits on) the source material.

The person who did all of the games for Bethesda is the executive producer. Jonathan Nolan did a good job with Person of Interest. The first couple of seasons of Westworld were decent. I will give it a chance.

War. War never changes. (Best thing Perlman ever did.)

The game * will almost certainly have better production value than the Amazon show. It always does.

* correction. I have played the game, but never really got into it. Don’t remember much of it, probably only spent an hour or two on it.

The first 2 games were outstanding. The kids liked The Elder Scrolls: Fallout Edition (sometimes erroneously referred to as Fallout 3), but a better follow up is Wasteland 2.

It is going to suck if they let any of the creative people from Wheel of Time or Rings anywhere near this TV series which they inevitably will

these open world RPG seem really hard to nail the adaptation.

there are so many different ways to play them. there isn’t just 1 story to tell even of the main campaign.

idk how iit would work or what a fiat expectation is as to what should happen in the show.

I hinestly would rather more shows become open world RPG than vice versa. give me a mandolorian game by bethesda.

One of the few shows nowadays where I have hope they'll stick to the source material. All the leaked pics so far look like they got details right (outfits, power armor, the date the bombs fell)

The only reason for that optimism is because Todd Howard is heavily involved

You mean instead of the unnamed placeholder main character?

I'm sure they'll have two dudes kissing, or a tranny kissing someone.
