‘The Flash’ Director Won’t Recast Ezra Miller in a Potential Sequel

Ezra Miller will continue being the Flash as long as director Andy Muschietti is involved in the Warner Bros. superhero franchise. During an interview on “The Discourse” podcast, Muschietti said he has no plans to re-cast Miller despite the actor’s history of legal troubles and alleged abuse.
“If [a sequel] happens, yes,” Andy Muschietti said about having Miller back as the Flash in a potential sequel. “I don’t think there’s anyone that can play that character as well as they did. The other depictions of the character are great, but this particular vision of the character, they just excelled in doing it. And, as you said, the two Barrys – it feels like a character that was made for them.”
“The Flash” producer Barbara Muschietti added, “In principal photography, Ezra was brilliant and the most committed and the most professional [actor]. Ezra gave everything for this role – physically, creatively, emotionally. They were absolutely supreme.”

Talk about privilege. He gets to be recast while Gina Carrino is cancelled and removed

Meanwhile most everyone here will gladly throw their money at this movie and support the pedo/abuser that is Ezra Miller and the enablers that keep him acting.

Dude, they all do it.. Bohemian Rhapsody just ignored the fact it was directed by Bryan Singer

Promising him future millions and respecting his pronouns, even though he's a groomer pedo, woman beater and burglar (for good measure, I guess).
But of course, so many of them are some if not all of those things, so how could they possibly ostracize him? Hollywood is just satanic clown town. It always was.

This is an easy promise to make when you know that you won't be doing a sequel. Muschietti looks like a stand-up guy while conscious of the fact that he'll never have to fulfill that commitment. He might as well be running out of the room backwards as he shouts his praise.

It's DC so I'll most likely wait till it hits HBO in 60 days or so.

What is the director supposed to say during the promotional tour in the lead up to the film's release? "Come see our movie even though we're definitely getting rid of this actor as soon as possible"?

If Ray Jay's dick up your arse can turn you into a billionaire, grooming little indian girls can at least rake in a few bucks at the box office.
