I really liked the first one.

I hope this one is as good. But as of late super hero movies have turned to shite.....

It's going to be a fun one. Also, "Dr. Strange and that nerd..." another fun hint from Sony back to MCU

Hate to say because I loved the 1st one but I’m gonna pass on this movie.

I don't think it's being a snowflake deciding not to support something based on a political or social message you don't agree with. If you don't care about that, that's fine.

I was looking forward to this movie. I may still watch it when it hits streaming but I'm not supporting that movie financially in theaters. I don't really understand the reasoning for the inclusion of it. I did see several people on twitter claiming it as confirmation that Gwen is trans It's also interesting the way they included it. It was obviously easy to spot, but it was also done in such a way that it could easily be edited out of international versions.

Also, ironically, it seems tribalism and the culture war IS the reason it was even included in the first place.

All it is corporate pandering which has been done for decades. People like Kaiju are just more people in a long line of people offended over innocuous shite

I agree with this. I don't think targeting kids with pro trans stuff is innocuous though. I think we differ there. Everyone has their line is all I'm saying. I just hate that it's in there at all because it distracts from how visually amazing this looks.

You have to think that Sony knows that once it hits the internet, it's going to make the YouTube rounds both congratulating and chastising, but it's going to become the focus. That's what I hate.

Good point. Idk why they have to include that. I'm still going to see the movie. But I think that may have just put a cap to their total earning potential.
