Ford is bringing back the Mach 1

Anyone who knows anything about American muscle cars knows the name Mach 1....
For almost 50 years the name “Mach 1” has held a well respected place in the Muscle car world. Well, Ford has decided to resurrect this name once again....
By putting it on a fricking piece of shite Electric Explorer!!!

same with the "all new" camaro, mustang, and chargers, they are all pathetic stupid looking under powered wimps that dont deserve to carry the name of the classic muscle cars

Friend of mine had that same 1969 Mach 1 Cobra Jet as well as a 1971 Boss 351 in his barn behind his house in Pass Christian on Beach Boulevard both running and about as close to original as could be since his dad bought them new. Man they were fast and we grew up getting odd chances to drive them.

What are you talking about? Performance cars don't sell for shite and they make little profit. There is a reason hardly anyone makes them anymore.

It true though. All auto companies are moving more towards SUVs and trucks b/c they sell far better and have much better profit margins.
They will still throw the enthusiast a bone now and then though. The new Mustang Bullitt looks pretty sweet.
Even so, who is it for? It's just not a practical vehicle and won't sell in high numbers.

Had an Azure Blue '04 Mach 1. Fun car. Not crazy about the name being used on something other than a Mustang, but oh well.
New Bullit looks awesome though.
