Prisons are better run than public schools.

The ones at my son’s school can’t drive worth a shite anyway. Might be pleasant dropping him off in the morning for a change.

Aunt drove for free school buses for free when Central Private was started.
My Uncle worked on the buses, labor was free and the school bought the parts.

I asked them both before they died why did they do bus driving, working on buses, and helping to install a wooden basket ball floor in the gym.

They said, "they wanted to give their kids the best education they could afford. Everyone who had kids at the school back then used what their talents were to make the best school they could put together."

I wonder if we will see Soccer Moms driving school buses like the old days when parents drove school buses.

Crawfish prices and stocks only go in one direction.

Buses run before and after school. School board hires bus companies now.

Hopefully they start paying school workers a livable salary. It's 20k/year in Ascension Parish to be a secretary or a paraprofessional.

Can confirm. I just got confirmation.

School is optional for students with the option for virtual. Quite a train wreck. Teachers will somehow be expected to hold virtual class with no preparation for students who may or may not have access to a computer.

That’s just so they can count tomorrow’s “instructional minutes” and not have to make up these days.

But why? They work half a day at most.
