Is this drought going to reduce the termite population in SE LA?

I know they need water even when they are destroying your house. Does no water = no termites in the long run.


Crawfish prices are going up.

It is estimated that termites have existed for at least 120 million years so what do you think? By the way mosquitoes are still plentiful in my yard.

Hell no. Just means they’ll eat through the wood faster to get inside the cool house to get water.

This heat has eliminated the mosquito population. I have been out at 8+pm to do work around my house and haven't felt one.

Every year is a struggle to keep ant piles off our football and soccer fields.

Not this year. Haven’t seen a mound since May.
