American middle class families must really not be saving any money.

Every middle class neighborhood is $350-$400K. Some places $500K. $2500-$3000 a month in Mortgage, PMI and Insurance.
SUVs they all drive are $65-85K. Another $300 a month insurance.
Kids sports crap a couple hundo a month.
Kids clothes and baby knick knacks (diapers, formula, etc.) are a couple hundred a month for two kids.
Groceries are inflating.
Nobody must he saving for retirement. A plant operator if he lives at the plant might make $130K.
Not really understanding how the jimmy and joes are making it out here.

Retirement and credit are gigantic bubbles that the Fedgov can't let collapse.

They should start looting the stores in their communities.

It's an investment. Braxxtyn will make a ton of money in the majors.

Errybody gets pensions when they retire.
No, wait.
No they don't. That all got cut out, except government employees.
Their parents got pensions, not the people working today

A lot of those people have two incomes so it’s probably closer to 200k if they have those things.

Guy I work with is retiring at 67 and says he feels like he's late. I told him that's going to be my generations norm. And then we're dead.

Can’t save for retirement if you don’t have a job

You do you. Don’t worry about anyone else’s business.

My wife and I both earn 6 figure salaries. Between daycare, each having a car note, student loans, rising costs of groceries, contributing to savings for ourselves and children, we don’t have much left over.
We bought a house in 2020, prices were rock bottom, interest rate 2.8%. Could probably swing a house that is 300k+ but we wouldn’t be taking any big vacations. Not sure how 300-350k houses are still flying off the market and people still taking vacations, because I know we aren’t poor and it would be tough for us to do
ETA: I’m guessing a lot of folks haven’t been paying student loans with the pause and will be fricked when they kick back in. I’ve been paying every month so I didn’t get a false sense of security

You dont live in louisiana

Stop watching the exceptions. Due to people pointing this out, I started taking an inventory while jogging through these neighborhoods. Very few are driving these new cars. Most people I see are living less exotic than we make it out around here.

Everything you said was right, except a plant operator living at the plant is close to $200k
