If Stone challenges your beliefs, you're pretty weak minded..

If I was sitting on a plane next to him, I am sure we would have polite, meaningless, single-serving conversation. I would tell my pals I met Oliver Stone, and he would tell his buddies he met Larry Hotdogs, and it was a delightful experience.

He's a liberal by 1960s standards. But the Democrat party has moved so far left that now he's basically a moderate. I saw a Jesse Watters interview with him on FNC a few years ago and he was saying many of the films he made back in the day couldn't get made by today's social and political standards, or couldn't get made the way he would have wanted.

Ukraine on Fire is an interesting piece, especially since it was released back in 2016.

I’ve always thought of him as an interesting guy. He’s correct about a lot and knows his history, but he’s had quite the hard on for Putin and Russia lately. I don’t quite understand that.

I’ll have to watch that. His documentaries are very interesting nonetheless. I just don’t agree with everything he says but that’s what’s great about America. We’re supposed to be able to get along even if we have different opinions on things.
