Will Bill Belichick break Don Shula’s all-time wins record?

He needs 17 more wins to surpass Shula. Before this season, I thought it would be a lock that he will end up getting the record. Now, I’m not so sure. Will the Patriots want him back? Does he even want to keep coaching for several more years? Will the Patriots or another team allow Belichick to keep complete personnel control which has been a clear weakness for him over the past several years? Will Belichick be willing to coach for a team without having control over personnel? This is going to a very interesting off-season for Belichick and the Patriots.

Don’t think he will but he has more Super Bowls wins and appearances than any coach… records I don’t see ever getting broken

Yes. He's going to go to a stacked roster and win a lot of games.

Does anyone really think the Chargers wouldn't drastically improve under him?

No, but I believe he is only three LOSSES away from tying the record.

Which is an underrated record as it denotes longevity

Andy Reid could get there with six or seven more good seasons.

But he's 65 and doesn't look like a guy who will be working past 70.

It may not be with the Patriots, but, if Belichick wants to coach for a few more years, he's going to coach for a few more years.

rumor has it the Browns are going to bring Bill Belichick home as HC next season to finish what he started in Cleveland.

also, my sources tell me that Nick Saban, Kirk Ferentz and maybe even Pat Hill will join current DC Jim Schwartz in recreating the 1994 Browns coaching staff.

can’t wait!
