5 game winning streak although it’s been all home games. They seem to have a nice mix of young players and veterans. And it’s painfully obvious Dillon Brooks was a huge asset and not a liability for Memphis given how frickin awful they look. Although him shooting 53% from 3 will not be sustainable.

Is boom still around?

The Rise of CC. But seriously, Jalen Green is slowly becoming a star and is benefiting from a more balanced roster. And Lil Jokic (Sengun) is not a one year wonder. Dude is legit

They’re definitely much improved. To what extent, only time will tell. They never would have won the game last night the previous three seasons. Finding a way to win even when the shots aren’t falling, and grinding at the very end of the game is what winning teams do.

I think now with the addition of some veteran players, the addition of a good coach, and the subtraction of Kevin Porter Jr, the team now has the structure which should allow the young players to really develop and improve drastically.

You essentially replaced KPJ with 2 solid vets.

Green & Sengun took huge steps this year. Smith looks solid as well compared to last year.

Yal and orlando are doing what I was hoping Pelicans would do, but nope...

More than that, I think KPJ not being on the team is addition by subtraction. I never liked him as a player at all.

Anyone with eyes and didn’t watch social media 24/7 knew this. Yeah he got roasted by Lebron and made some low IQ comments but he’s still a good role player.

The rockets loaded up on good role players (FVV, Brooks, Green, Holiday) and brought in a better coach to help the young guys make the next step. There’s structure there that previously was a free for all.

Was expecting they they’d lose tonight and come back down to Earth. But nope, they just keep winning.

But as good as these wins were, they were all home games. These road games should tell us something, as you said.

Ime Udoka is an incredible coach. Stephen Silas may be the worst coach in the history of professional sports.

(Rare post from me these days)

first year in awhile there is no motivation to lose. Haven't watched a ton but it's pretty clear they are playing with actual energy for first time in awhile.

Past few years you could tell everyone was just going thru the motions
