JaMarcus Russell- it didn't help him that the Raiders were a total dumpster fire
Ryan Leaf- mostly of his own doing, he was an immature jerk who was hated by his own team mates.

This is a popular opinion but if we actually look at his record it’s not as bad as some think.

Aundray Bruce?
Sam Bradford just based on the number of bad contracts doled out. Haha!

As much as it pains me to say, Heath Shuler belongs on the list.

Vernon Gholston is always my favorite answer

Dude was drafted 6th overall. He played 3 seasons, recorded 42 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 QB hit, and 0 sacks

He was a defensive end in case you forgot

Isaiah Wilson

Drafted in the first round. His NFL career consisted of exactly one snap for the Titans during his rookie year. Then he was suspended the next week, traded in the offseason, and released a few days later.

JaMarcus getting blank tapes and saying he watched the game film will forever be legendary.

Sounds like the winner so far.

Other nominees would be the WRs drafted in back to back seasons by the Lions.

Kyle Pitts and Drake London would be on the short list for me. Haha!

Matt Leinart had fewer career touchdown passes than Jamarcus.

Dion Jordan. The poster child for being drafted solely due to combine measurables.

I don’t know if many felt like ML’s skills would translate that well to the NFL. Dude is the most cross eyed mfer I’ve ever seen so he had that working against him
