Waino gets win #200!

Seemed impossible a month ago.

It took a lot longer than I ever thought it would. But Wainwright finally locks down win #200. And it took his best game of the year to get it. This team just doesn't score many runs when he pitches.

He's running an 8sh ERA, I don't think it's the run support brotha

I know he sucks. But the few times he has pitched decent, he gets almost no run support.

Rangers lose the lead in the 8th inning. Again.

Fair enough, I've only seen his start against Houston this year, and it was sad to see a little bit because I remember what he was like in his prime.

A silver lining of the Cards struggles is that he got to have this moment, as there's no way he would have stayed in the rotation if they were still in the race. I like Waino and hope he still plans to stay around as a broadcaster

For sure. If there was any shot at the playoffs there's no way he would still be in the rotation.

He pitched well against the Padres and Mets last month. And got a total of 3 runs of support. He said he wants to broadcast in some capacity, so I would imagine TBS or someone will give him some airtime.

He's now been dropped by six teams in five years.
