I can't stand Lebron, but how TF you want to blame his leadership there?

that was probably the only time haters/stans were on the same side. JR had everyone in shock

The game wasn't over. It went into overtime. Lebron didn't say a word on the bench and just stared at JR like they already lost the game. They proceeded to get stomped in OT. Move on and focus on the next play.

I mean that isn't LBJs fault. That should have been in everyone's head from the last timeout to discussions before the free throw.

Just make the free throw and none of this happens

Oh I know. James was on top of it. JR's "what" before they went to the bench, I'm surprised James didn't send him home at that point

ETA I'm mainly referring to the meme as our favorite moment.

Watch the replay, everyone on the floor knew the situation other than JR.

Didn’t he drop like 51 on 70% shooting?

I just watched the video of the whole time on the bench. He never really even looked at JR. I can't even believe I'm doing this because I can't stand the guy, but he scored 51 points in that game. The coach probably should've tried to rally the team there and shouldn't have put JR back in to start OT.

JR is a professional basketball player playing in the NBA Finals. Lebron or anyone else shouldn't have to worry if he knows the game situation or not.

I'm still surprised Lebron didn't punch JR on the sideline. Lebron was carrying the hell out of the Cavs all playoffs. He couldn't even rest, because as soon as he sits, the other team immediately would go on a run.

Idk if he's ever fully admitted it, but this moment deflated the hell out of him. You can tell he was very motivated in game 1, dropping 51. But due to Jr's blunder causing them to lose the game, he pretty much coasted the rest of the finals games.

Worst moment that will probably never be lived down: this or Weber's timeout?

Rally the team in the timeout before OT and go win G1 instead of freaking out and sulking.

ETA - And I'm one of the bigger LeBron stans on this board.

Yeah, I kind of agree with that, but that Warriors team was practically unbeatable and they had a golden opportunity to steal game 1 on their floor but had it blown on that brain dead play.

Hard to get over

Not quite 70%, but yes.

Kyrie didn’t play
Love was 1-8 from 3 and had 21 points on 20 shots
JR was the 3rd leading scorer with…10 points.

Lebron GOAT’d the frick out of that game and made a GOAT level play to win it with the pass at the end.

Lebron is the best basketball player to ever play the game.
