Yea, no shite. It is clear that something is not getting through and coaching is where that starts.

Night and day difference from last year.

Experienced coaches have a tendency to do the same things over and over that made them successful. Without the influx of new ideas from younger coaches, they can become predictable and let their ego get in the way of success.

That’s why I wish we would target guys who are 40’s or younger for both DC and PGC spots. They tend to be more flexible in their philosophy and are adept in the way football has evolved in the last 10 years. I used to be a believer in coaching experience being most important, but the game has changed so much and not everyone changes with it.

I don’t mind an experienced defensive coordinator.

I hate having an elderly passing game coordinator. He’s abandoned all Brady wrinkles for a generic NFL spread. Moving the RBs wide, splitting TE wide etc. abandoned

Are y'all not terrified at this point that O gets to keep hiring coordinators again and again?

It's not comical anymore - he clearly only wants old fossils that are yes men more than young innovators.

I don’t read it but I don’t think they’ve ever tried to be groundbreaking. Just a normal guy..

Ed needs to kick in for the buy out then, under this super coordinator model they shouldn’t have to cut massive checks every time he fricks it up.

This does not get enough attention. We all know Bo sucks arse, but the PGC blows my fricking mind. If E is supposed to be so good, then why are you bringing in a dinosaur? Bring some fresh ideas to supplement E, dumbass.

He needs to be finding Pelini another FCS head coaching job or a low level FBS job so LSU can get out from under pelini’s badly negotiated contract.

Mike D is an O mouthpiece so he's probably getting this from O

I read the article, so the question is specifically who would you replace? I don’t see wholesale changes coming, simply because of the huge contract costs.

If anyone here thinks that Venables could come in and coach up players that felt disenfranchised from before the season to tackle better, you’re wrong.

Does anyone want to deny this?

How many fricking chances does he get? End E found Brady and convinced O to hire him. O still wanted to ride with E

Canada
E
Linnehan
Pelini

And potentially more hires after some don't cut it?
