How important was Kiffin sharing Alabama's shadow staff binder on LSU

to the recent success of LSU's program. My understanding this caused O to get the funds for a shadow staff. What are your thoughts?
As TeamLSU perfectly stated:

Kiffin shared with Coach O the intimate details of how Bama prepared for LSU. Bama knew more about LSU offense than the LSU coaches did and their tendencies. Kiffin also advised Coach O of the disadvantage he was at in reference to Shawdow Staff. Coach O took that info to the powers that be and now LSU has one of the best Shadow staffs in all of college football.

All we ever needed was a competent Offensive Scheme that was not predictable in play calling and from formations.
We generally played Bama into the 4th quarter with an inept offensive scheme.
We will see if we can continue that into the future. With our QB recruitment and coaching to execute the scheme

Don't let the other replies fool you.
It was very important. We were going into games blind before then. They knew every tendency and playcall.
O's mind was blown.

Supposedly, O saw the detail that Alabama's shadow staff was producing. Supposedly Alabama knew tendencies about LSU that even the LSU staff did not know!!!

This all seems baseless. It’s a no brained that LSU just had mediocre QBs and terrible offensive play calling.
Edited to add- we didn’t reinvent the wheel or do anything different, we just finally executed with our talent. Like Kirby said “we do the same thing they just execute better”

It just looked like we would hit a brick wall when we would play them every year. There were even rumors of spying from time to time. Most of this had to be because they had so much more info on us than we had of them.
I think it was huge and will be going forward.

Yep, they figured out our secrets. 1st down-LF/GUICE right. 2nd down-LF/GUICE left, 3rd down-screen to LF/GUICE, 4th down-PUNT and play Def (best strategy).

Important enough for Kiffin to share the details. Important enough for O to add that to the program asap. I think bottom line it gives us alot more than a week to prepare for opponents so when we go into game week we aren't starting at zero and adds a wealth of knowledge into gameplanning. Not to mention how blown away O was by how much better prepared they were than we were. Obviously it's a pretty big deal

I believe the "check with me" touchdown over Stingley was a result of Alabama's shadow staff discovering LSU DBs would look at the bench when there was a perceived audible.

Yes it took a football brain equal to Belichick to know we were going to run toss dive, short side option, long developing play action pass....
Everyone knew the offense, there were about 7 plays

I think this was something noticed on the field during the game by the coaches or players
If I’m a receiver and I notice the DB looking away for a second or two to the sideline I go back to the huddle or sideline and tell them when he looks away snap the ball and I’m gone.

I think it was important. I think many people have adopted it now and the field is equaling out

If you are a receiver and think the entire game revolves around you, maybe this works.

Elaborate please.
Kiffin shared it with Alabama? Or shared it with LSU?

After Kiffin left Alabama, he told coach O everything how Bama operates and was looking out for his boy.

Saban put extra extras in preparing for this game- Rivalry, Destination Game, and most importantly Recruiting Advantage if won. Saban said as much a couple years ago that once his team beat LSU , he noticed the fire and hunger drops a notch or two.
