From what I understand, the vast majority of ticketing will be through mobile. Is there any way to get an actual ticket (not just the pdf version) for those that want to keep it after the game?

Brrrruh, I thought the same thing. It would be nice to have these as a keepsake for my kid. we have a shadow box and was going to put the SEC championship and National championship tickets in them with other random items. I'm all for convenience but damn, there's just something special about being at a huge event with an elaborate ticket inside of a lanyard

I don’t know, but this shite is so stupid to me. You know there’s gonna be people that have their phone go dead, lose it before the game, what have you. I’ve still got my ticket from the ‘03 natty and it’s one of my most prized possessions. I get that we’re in the digital age now, but c’mon man.

I bought some peach bowl commemorative tickets. That trash was mobile commemorative tickets. What a joke and waste of money. I imagined it would’ve been a nice shiny physical ticket Who the hell wants a digital printout fake ticket

Yup. Still have my ticket in the lanyard with a pic of me in the dome. I guess their reasoning is risk of counterfeit tickets. Who knows.

I photoshopped the ticket in the pic, put my seat numbers and printed on card stock. Came out real nice. I would think the guys on the fark board could prolly hook u up.

Peach Bowl commemorative tickets were in the game program sold at the stadium. Perhaps CFP will be the same. (Generic, but still.)

Bama mailed National Championship commemorative tickets to season ticket holders a few weeks after their championship game last year. Maybe LSU will do the same.

Here's the e-mail Bama ticket holders received:

"The TIDE PRIDE/Ticket Office will be mailing you National Championship commemorative tickets. National Championship commemorative tickets are expected to be mailed via USPS first class mail by Monday, January 28 to your mailing address on file.

You will receive the same quantity of tickets that you purchased for the National Championship game. Unfortunately, we do not have any tickets outside of our allotment to assist with additional requests. We will also attempt to send you the same seat locations that you purchased."

I never did see anyone selling programs at the peach bowl, and I didn’t see a soul carrying a program either.

People next to me at Peach Bowl had actual tickets because they had picked theirs up from will call.

Negative. Tickets are on the CFB Playoff app. It’s really only way to do it such short turn around. This year little longer than normal. But typically you have 10 days between games. Would take a lot for school to receive 20k tickets, then turn right around and distribute them in that short of time.

Our ticket office has always mailed them a month or so after the game. They just show up don’t have to request them or anything.

No I know the champ tickets are digital. At the CFA bowl they announced you could buy a “commemorative ticket” online. I thought that would be a paper ticket but poster is saying it’s digital too?

In 2003 season ticket holders got a “ticket sheet” with tickets from all season of home games. Can’t remmeber if it had your specific location or not but that was cool.

We also got a vhs tape of the game lol.
