I’ve never seen a bigger screw job then today. That’s all I have left to say about it. I’m done with the SEC and the adminstration for bringing this all on us.

Yes, the SEC and the administration brought all of this on us.

Did you watch the NFC championship?

Can I get a replay linked?
Couldn't watch the game.
Couldn't watch the game.

Not true. It was on sportscenter.

It has become very hard to take the sec and the nfl seriously after this season...its like the whole show is being run by the bookies.

I agree. I’m really starting to lose my enthusiasm for sports due to what appears to be corrupt officiating.
To those who argue it’s not corrupt... let me suggest this. Officiating and running a league should be good and fair enough to where the idea of corruption doesn’t even enter the minds of participants or fans. That’s the minimum standard. Not a high standard. Minimum.
If it’s reached the point where we are having serious... not minor... debates over whether officials or leagues are unfair, it’s not us. It’s them that has the problem.
One last thing... I’m not a sports neophyte. I’m old. And I can tell you that every league I’ve been associated with... from little league and beyond... for more than 40 years, has had some form of cheating or corruption within. Every. Single. One. And we played for free. Not millions of dollars.

The call was terrible. The tech was worse. The officials we’re probably told to do it. Having said that. LSU could have and should have played much better

That was probably the worst of all time and most obvious.

I don't even understand how that was an available call.

Espn showed a highlight of the play at halftime of the duke unc game, but they didn’t really elaborate on it. Just said it was the turning point in the game.

I am to the point I am beginning to believe the State of LA is cursed.
Refereeing in general across the board is pretty bad with missed calls or no-calls.
Go back to the idiot who called an out versus us in the CWS on the hidden ball trick. Ref wasn't even looking.
A & M game in football.
Yesterday.
A fricking referee is never held accountable for bad calls.
In any other game they would go to the monitor to check that call yesterday except for yesterday.

There is a reason for this in all sports...

Correct. There was a reason for that too....

If the saints had run the ball and set up for the fg, they would have left the rams about 30-40 seconds with NO timeouts. The call was horrible, but that loss is on payton. And yes that was clearly pi, and I had no dog in the fight, as I'm an eagles and whoever' playing the cowgirls fan. One last thing: I didn't 2nd guess that situation, I was telling my son as the situation played out that the saints should bleed the clock and take the 3. Play the damned percentages.

Roy Jones jr in the Seoul Olympics and the 2011 "every game
Counts....but this one" college football do over are right up there too.

The bookies don't care. They win EVERY game! You must not understand gambling AT ALL.
Posted on 3/17/19 at 1:42 pm to mdtiger1
Q: If bookies don't care then why do they change the spread?...A: because they do care and they don't like losing either.

quote:i thought auburn 2006 was the worst officiated game i had ever seen until the a&m game. it was by far the worst officiated sporting event i've ever seen. there is no way a group of officials are that incompetent. no freaking way. with so many well documented missed calls, the sec supporting the refs just proves the point.
To those who argue it’s not corrupt
quote:i definitely have and it reached the worst point after the blake sims td scramble. the question i have asked since then is, why bother. if it's going to be fixed, why even watch. the only reason i still watch is because i can't think of anything else i would rather do more, even with the corruption
I’m really starting to lose my enthusiasm for sports

Losing isn't high on their list either.
