I came on here a few weeks ago and asked for advice for our rivalry tour. LINK
I was beyond shocked to see the amount of help and guidance given and knew we were in for a special experience. What actually took place on Saturday in Baton Rouge was beyond what we could have ever imagined.
We started at Chimes for Bloody Marys to recover from a night in NOLA. As we walked south through parade grounds, I was frequently greeted with "Tigabait" for my red University of Arizona shirt that would quickly get retracted when they realized it wasn't Alabama.
When questioned what guys from Arizona St and Arizona were doing at LSU, we explained our rivalry tour and our love for college football. To say we were treated as royalty would be an understatement. Good drinks and even better food was constantly provided throughout the day and night.
Tiger Walk down the hill was electrifying and still gives me goose bumps thinking about it. The size and spectrum of your atmosphere is still hard to comprehend from Pac12 land. As we made our way around the stadium from tailgate to tailgate, we were always welcomed with a smile.
The game. Seats were Sec 305 Row 46. Perfect view and an electric atmosphere. I know we all would have preferred a different outcome but for us, that game was unlike any other and a truly incredible experience.
We wandered further south into TD Village where our minds were blown yet again. After more drinks and food, the clock struck midnight (2am) for our Cinderella day and we finally headed out of campus.
But what made this whole experience special was YOU. The people of Louisiana. We talked with many of you and as we left each tailgate YOU thanked US for being there. Tiger Nation has 2 new fans on the west coast for life. I hope if any of you are in AZ that you reach out and we can help provide a fraction of a time what was given to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Geaux Tigers!

Glad you had a great time and thanks for coming. Where does this trip rank with the other trips you have made? What was your favorite food? Will you be back?

I've had a star crossed relationship with the place, but there's no denying LSU in general is just a special environment (esp Saturday nights)

Thanks for writing this! I wasn't there and didn't get the pleasure of meeting you, but this is what college football, sports, and life to a greater extent is all about. Nice to hear something truly positive in this crazy world of negativity!

This was our 1st one so it will be #1 for a very long time I imagine. We actually don't think it'll be beat. Just too high of a bar. Turtle soup at the "Pig Spinner tailgate" was insanely good! Because our experience was so good, we'll be back for sure.

Wish we could have won, but I'm pleased you got to see our stadium at its best! I'll never stop getting chills in that place. So happy that both of you enjoyed your visit, and I hope you have the opportunity to come back soon.

Curious to know if you have ever experienced a crowd noise like that. Even the Bama fans on the SEC Rant called it the loudest they had ever experienced even over Bryant Denny Stadium.
I have been to some doozies over the years but I did not make this one at DV. Hope you got a good benchmark for future visits!

I brought 2 friends who played at Kansas State. The experience exceeded more than their already high expectations. Tiger Stadium is truly special when it's at it best. It was every bit of that Saturday Night.
