Did Miles cost Fournette the Heisman?

Ok... someone is going to say... Miles wasn't blocking or running... My point is, his REFUSAL to throw the ball or spread the field some let opposing defenses stack the box and focus on Fournette and it cost the kid the Heisman.

shite, cost the kid every award available to him. The South Carolina donation not even mentioned.

His refusal to quit trying to win it for LF is why we lost to Bama.
He obviously was trying to get LF to break one to save his chance when he shoulda abandoned the run

We threw the ball over 100 times in the 3 games we lost. 51 times in one game. Alabama did not stack the box. They beat us with their front 7. fricking actually watch the games and quit regurgitating talking points seen on the rant.

Tens of thousands of players go through college football programs and don't win the heisman. Maybe they should blame their coaches too.
What a retarded argument.

Go back and look at the play selection in Bama, Arky, OM, and aTm
You will see that there was no "refusal" to throw it. There was an "inability" to throw it effectively.

Can you post the pass/run ratio for the last 4 games, accounting for sacks and busted pass plays where possible? I'm sure we refused to throw the ball, but I'm forgetting the exact numbers.

Yes, but I differ in your analysis. Miles did not refuse to throw the ball. He and his staff did not develop the basic passing game throws like screens, slants, and flats to aid the offense early in the season so he could use it when the box was stacked. Hell Bama did not even have to stack the box because they knew LSU could not run a possession type passing game. This turned out to be the fatal blunder of the year.
If LF was going to win the Heisman and LSU had the same three losses many of the fans who wanted to fire him would have given him a pass...

Box wasn't stacked on most of his runs v Bama, and that's the game that killed his chances.

Then the offensive line should apologize too.
