This is great!
I bought a Google Chrome cast last night. Game looks great in HD on my big screen.
Chrome cast was only $35 and easy to set up. Highly recommended.

I agree but i am having volume issues. Once it gets late in the game the volume just starts to drop out to the point I turn my tv volume to 100% and still can barely hear anything. But when the commercials come on, they are in full blast.
Other than that, love it.

A lot of people were worried when they first heard GZ was going away. I think everyone should now realize that this is even twice as good as that.

Thank you, technology. I agree, it's great.

Assuming you don't have any provider issues, this is much better for those of us living out of state.

GZ audio was always too low. This broadcast is solid.
They can't seem to get their act together on the pitch count, though. That's why I've been keeping it. They tried it first game and got way off in the first inning. I guess that's why they dropped it.

Oh, and another thing--they start the broadcast on time, unlike GZ, which sometimes joined the game in progress.

My social life took a dive this weekend.

I noticed that too. At one point on Friday it looked like they were trying to display both pitch counts at once, and the numbers looked messed up. Haven't seen the pitch count since, but I hope they get it worked out.

You're doing a fantastic job on the BPB, Cheer. Anyone who complains about it is just a chronic complainer.

Yep, you are Cheer
thanks for your hard work man. Because when the screen is messed up we can rely on you

Thanks, Rabbit. SECN+ has made it a LOT easier for me to watch, I don't know if I could be the BPB guy without it.

Well, I can 'air play' it through my Apple TV thingee but the sound is bad...breaks up or is completely absent
or the screen freezes up and I have to refresh. It does the same on my computer. Comcast needs to do something or else

You shouldn't have to air play it if you have an Apple TV. There's already a watchespn app

I disagree, at least initially. I have DirecTV which means I can't get WatchESPN. I understand that it will get worked out eventually, but at least with GZ, I could pay my money and see the game. Big business can be so fickle.

I wish xboxone had a watchespn app though

it is great and i highly recommend either the chromecast ($35) or roku streaming stick (45$)
both just plug into your tv via HDMI port and both access internet via wireless (wifi)
roku is awesome too bc of all the free channels.
also with the roku you don't need to stream it from a device.. (so you don't need any smartphones or high tech stuff) the watchespn app is BUILT in and you just use the roku remote to access all the ESPN content.. where as with chromecast it acts as a streaming device from your phone, tablet, or laptop.
both are great because they both allow you to use plex, which is also free on your computer and you can stream any movie file or video file in general wirelessly from your computers hard drive to your tv.. so you can use these devices for movie watching as well.
and if you get the plex app for your phone or tablet (only like 5$ one time) you can make playlist and all sorts of stuff. well worth it!!!
technology is amazing and great

For all this u have to have a watch espn account right?
Posted on 2/15/15 at 6:01 pm to crookedicat
yes, you would still need a cable provider login, you could borrow one from somebody though.
if you know someone with cox cable, they can create an account JUST for you.. they get up like 5 e-mails or so to create with cox.. and they can create your own email and password.. separate from THEIRS! and you can use that to login and it will work. they can't make any changes to your account as long as it's not made as an authorize user. i have done this for a couple of friends who don't have cable at all and are able to watch watchespn because i provided them this!
